

Dr. Ina Selita is a licensed Doctor of Audiology and the founder of NeuroHear. She provides comprehensive hearing care that combines clinical audiology with neuroscience to support long-term communication and cognitive health. Her approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, with a focus on accurate diagnosis and patient education.
Dr. Selita’s Background
Before entering clinical practice, Dr. Selita conducted neuroscience research at the New York University School of Medicine and Johns Hopkins University, studying how the auditory cortex contributes to learning and adaptation. Her work has been published in the Journal of Neurophysiology and presented at international conferences, including the Society for Neuroscience and the Association for Research in Otolaryngology.
Dr. Selita completed her clinical training in a range of settings, including private practices in New York City, Lenox Hill Hospital, and the Children’s Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center (CERC) at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. These experiences have shaped her thorough, patient-focused approach to audiologic care.
In addition to her professional work, Dr. Selita is a wife and mother of two. She values communication as a foundation for connection and is committed to helping individuals and families stay connected through all stages of life.
