Precision Testing for Hearing & Brain Health

We don’t solely run a hearing test; we assess how your brain processes sound, focus, and conversation in everyday situations. By leveraging advanced technology to enhance our long-trusted cognitive abilities, we can provide a clearer picture of your cognitive-auditory vitality.

Here’s what’s included in our NeuroHear Vitality Plan:

  • Ear Health Check (Otoscopy): We begin with a thorough visual examination of your ear canal and eardrum to ensure that nothing, such as wax or infection, obstructs optimal hearing.
  • Middle Ear Assessment (Immittance Testing & Ipsilateral Acoustic Reflexes): We assess how efficiently your middle ear is functioning and measure your ears’ protective reflexes to ensure your auditory system is responding and protecting itself as it should.
  • Otoacoustic Emission Testing: We measure the subtle echoes your inner ear naturally creates when a sound is presented. Healthy emissions = healthy outer hair cells → a vital piece of a healthy auditory system.
  • Complete Hearing Test (Air & Bone Conduction): You’ll listen to a range of tones through earphones or headphones and a special headband. We test how sound travels through every part of your ear and how well your auditory nerve conveys it to your brain, providing us with a clear map of your hearing thresholds.
  • Speech-In-Noise Testing (QuickSIN): Volume is easy, clarity in a noisy café is the real test. We measure how well your brain separates speech from background noise, allowing us to fine-tune for real-life situations.
  • Cognitive Assessment: Since hearing resides in the brain, we screen areas such as memory, attention, and processing speed. It’s how we protect not just your ears, but your cognitive sharpness.
  • Personalized Hearing Solutions (Hearing Aid Selection): If hearing aids are right for you, you won’t just “buy a hearing aid”, you’ll enroll in a hearing performance program. Our doctors help select and tailor technology to support clear hearing, healthy brain processing, and effortless connection, with no pressure, no rush.
  • Precise Fitting (Real Ear Measurements): To ensure your hearing aids perform optimally for your unique ears, we conduct real ear measurements. This calibration ensures that your hearing aids are perfectly tuned in real-time, directly in your ear, to ensure every frequency tested is optimized for clarity, not just volume.
  • Ongoing Care & Support: Hearing and brain performance are not one-time fixes; they are long-term commitments. We provide continuous follow-ups, updates, checks, and adjustments to help you maintain clear hearing, year after year.

Tinnitus Relief to Focus & Calm

Our evidence-based treatments help reduce the ringing in your ears and quiet your mind, helping you think clearly and feel more at ease.

When the ringing never stops, your mind can’t fully rest.

Tinnitus is that constant hum, buzz, or ringing in your ears that steals your focus, disrupts your sleep, and drains your mental energy.

It’s essential to remember that every tinnitus journey is unique, so your care should be tailored accordingly. We create a personalized relief plan that combines advanced hearing technology, brain retraining tools, and expert support to improve clarity and calm the fight-or-flight cycle that often triggers tinnitus, so you never feel alone while learning to quiet the noise.

Our approach blends precise testing, gentle care, and evidence-based science to help you:

  • Reduce the intensity of the ringing
  • Focus more in all environments
  • Sleep more soundly
  • Lower stress and anxiety that can trigger the tinnitus

If you’ve been told “there’s nothing you can do about your tinnitus” or “just live with it,” we’re here to help you reclaim the focus, rest, and peace of mind you deserve for today and for the long run.

Vitality Plan FAQs

What is the NeuroHear Vitality Plan?

The NeuroHear Vitality Plan is not a one-time visit, it's a long-term hearing and brain optimization program. Instead of treating hearing loss like a simple volume issue, it looks at how your brain processes sound in complex environments, how you function in real-world listening environments, and how hearing impacts cognitive health, focus, and fatigue.

What is included in the NeuroHear Vitality Plan?

While the exact structure can be customized, it typically includes a comprehensive audiologic evaluation (beyond basic hearing screening test), speech-in-noise testing (real-world listening ability), cognitive screening (brain and hearing connection), tinnitus assessment and management (if applicable), hearing aid evaluation and fitting (if needed), real-ear measurements (REM) for precision fitting, and counseling and auditory rehabilitation. The ongoing care model includes follow-up visits and adjustments, outcome tracking (hearing, cognitive, and tinnitus metrics), and long-term support and optimization. We offer a program with continuity, not a single appointment.

How is the NeuroHear Vitality Plan different from a regular hearing test?

A traditional hearing test measures hearing thresholds (can you hear tones in quiet?), is usually one appointment, and offers limited follow-up unless you pursue hearing aids. The NeuroHear Vitality Plan measures function (how well you understand speech in noise), includes brain and cognition, focuses on fatigue, clarity, and performance, and provides ongoing care and optimization.

Does the Vitality Plan include cognitive screening?

Yes, cognitive screening is a core part of the model because hearing loss is linked to cognitive decline and dementia risk, poor auditory input increases cognitive load, and early detection helps guide preventive strategies.

Who is a good candidate for the NeuroHear Vitality Plan?

Ideal patients include adults noticing difficulty hearing in noise, patients with listening fatigue or brain fog, those concerned about cognitive health and longevity, tinnitus patients (especially those who have been told they have to learn to live with their tinnitus), high performers (professionals, parents, executives) who want better clarity and focus, and anyone who wants preventative, proactive care.

Does the Vitality Plan help with tinnitus?

Yes, and it includes tinnitus assessment, counseling (evidence-based, not quick fixes), sound therapy strategies, and hearing device integration (when appropriate).

What are real-ear measurements and why do they matter?

Real-ear measurements (REM) are the gold standard for hearing aid fitting. A tiny microphone is placed in the ear canal and measures how sound is actually delivered at the eardrum. Everyone's ear canal is different and manufacturer settings are just estimates, so REM ensures speech is clear (not just louder), proper amplification across frequencies, better outcomes in noise, and reduced listening fatigue.

Does the Vitality Plan include ongoing care after the initial appointment?

Yes, and this is one of the biggest differentiators. It includes follow-ups and fine-tuning, monitoring of hearing and cognitive status, device optimization over time, and continued counseling and support.

Dr. Selita is a professional that’s very knowledgeable – she treated me a few years ago. She carefully explained my results and options to me carefully so I can understand everything. I would recommend 100%!

Brought my mother to get evaluated by Dr, Selita. She took her time with my mother, more than I’ve ever experienced at a doctors office. I would recommend her to anyone looking to hear better.
